Just bought the wiper washer pumps. Still sitting in a box in the kitchen. Need to get off my butt and take the 15 minutes to do it.
2004 Imola Red over Black Leather. 6-MT, Navigation, Cold Weather Pkg (the wife loves them seat warmers!), 3.46 Diff, UUC Short-Shift Kit, Tranny Mounts, CDV Delete and iPod mount.
Re-glued the sagging material on my 3rd brake light cover and ultrasonic sensor cover using 3M Super 77. It’s not perfect, but it’s a big improvement over what it was before.

While the E46 was up on the QuickJack getting the BBK installed, the 18 years of dirt and road contamination in the fender wells was just too much for my OCD. Took a few hours and cleaned them up again. Certainly not perfect or concours but fine for street driving. Amazing what a gallon of Simple Green, a bucket, some rags and brushes can do...

Wow good work, and nice brakes.
Thanks guys, it really isn't that hard, you just need to commit the time. I spent maybe an hour tops on each corner. Having the height of the QuickJack definitely made a big difference in the ability to get under there and see what I was cleaning. Just a bucket of straight Simple Green and a wash mitt to start and just start scrubbing. Works into a nice foam and then a wheel brush to get into the uneven surface of the undercoating. Just keep squeezing out the mitt with clean water until you don't have any dirty foam left. All done inside the garage, no garden hose or pressure washer needed. Here's a couple of before pics before starting so you can see what 18 years of contamination looks like.
Really needing some B8's up front and some H&R sway bars all around now. It never ends...

Wow, I have to do this too in the spring when I get my car out of the storage unit (and with my QuickJack!)
Question: Is there any reason the lug nuts are on without the wheels other than just to be sure not to misplace them?
