What is your reason for installing spacers? With photos you provided of the rears, is that a flat tire?

After I lowered it the wheels just look way too pushed in. So for aesthetics. No the tire isn't flat, that's just a weird trick of the photo.

I feel your pain. I have H&R Sports too and for the longest time, riding that low just made the wheels feel way too tucked in. I eventually got 15mm spacers for the front and 12mm for the rear. The front fit but the rears rubbed. Even putting that aside, I didn't like it. Looked kind of strange and the car didn't drive as crisp as it did before. Not to mention vibrations got worse. They were Turner hubcentric spacers.

I really want to try 5mm all around or 7mm, but I don't think that works as it takes up too much of the hub. Even 10mm is problematic on our cars, so I just gave up on spacers. In my mind I'm just gonna get custom barrels for my wheels one day and have them add a 0.5" lip or something to push out the wheels more. Probably never gonna happen considering how much that costs but I like to keep dreaming.

Glad to know. That saves me $$$ on purchasing spacers. Considering I do have the H&R Sports on four corners. Stay as is with the 135s.

I'll try one more time in the rear then see where I end up. But as you said, probably just back to none at all. I DO love the way the front looks with the 12s right now, and after one extended drive, didn't notice any negative effects on steering/handling. If anything, front end feels better when pushed a little.

I applied some Leatherique Rejuvenator as maintenance treatment.

Replaced my trans mounts with Revshift poly units today.

    These suckers are INTENSE.

The car vibrates like my friend's clapped Miata now. But it also sounds like it has M3 GTR straight cut gears when accelerating/decelerating. Starting the car sounds like a jet taking off. Shifting is CRISP and those strange vibrations at high speed are are mostly gone now I think? The steering wheel doesn't really vibrate anymore but the seats vibrate more.

I might actually go back to rubber eventually because the difference is absolutely comical. It's almost not even funny but I think I'll enjoy it for now.

Geez that is brave - I've made it a rule never to get poly engine or trans mounts. I do have ECS Tuning diff mounts but they're 88A durometer and have OEM levels of NVH.

I have poly engine mounts too but those had only advantages in my book. My old mounts tore in half so the poly units fixed the crazy steering wheel vibrations and the engine feels smoother when revving too. The only vibrations those added were when idling below 800rpm or when idling with the AC on. Raising idle to 900rpm would be an easy fix.

But these trans mounts are just a different world. They are only 80A and super soft. I'm certain they will become a little more comfortable once I break them in.

EDIT: Oh yeah, I went with these because my friend has a M3 convertible and he installed Revshift engine and trans mounts. I drove the car before and after and there was literally no discernible difference in terms of NVH. So no idea what the heck is up with my car.

you could run 5mm in the front with the hub extenders from turner. what's what i have currently. no one makes extenders for the rears though.
