I'm sold on this after reading all your comments. I just have to figure out where my mic is cause I don't think my headliner came with it just have a square plastic cover next to the dome light..

This is only true for the OE system. They added gain to the pre-amp on the unit so they could more accurately process noise / echo from the users voice.
For the BlueBus, all three parts work the same once cVc is enabled (which it usually is by default, except for certain early models).
Thanks!

About to pull the trigger on the Bluebus but I have questions regarding my cars compatibility. I have an 2004.
Im really not comfortable with soldering or messing with the electrical in my car so I want my install to be as smooth as possible. I also want to use the OEM microphone for handsfree calling. With those trunk tags and the look of my overhead microphone cover, will my install be a plug and play or will it be more involving?
Thanks!

The picture of your sunroof controls confused me until I realized you have a slicktop
Anyways, everything is plug and play -- the BlueBus, the Microphone, etc. The caveats are:
1. You need a microphone most likely. These are the part numbers and 84318380338, 84318380319 and 84316938762.
2. You'll need the additional 54-pin connector adapter.
Thanks!

Ha. Yeah I sure do have a slicktop, forgot to mention that part. An elusive slick top, AT with leather (no idea who spec'd my car, they were a strange bird.
Where is the 54 pin connector going? Some install videos appear to replace the OEM TCU with the bluebus, is that the proper installation process? Im sure im repeating questions already asked so I apologize
