In preparation for my upcoming coilover swap, I got new spring compressors to help make this job easier

I have Porsche maintenance to do which I will be starting soon then I can get cracking on my much needed coilover swap. Looking forward to seeing how well these new PSS-10s feel once they are installed

Well… I’m at my friend’s shop today to pick up a set of OEM M3 side mirrors for blauzed and possibly pick up a few additional parts for my M3 while I’m here

    My Mystic Adventure...

The vert front radiator support brand new runs over $500

Whereas I am able to get everything from my friend for $100

All I have to do is get a bucket of water and detergent and clean this part before swapping it in

I will do this when I overhaul the entire cooling system using OEM and OEM+ parts.

Because the vert part is much stronger and provides better support. The front radiator support that is put on coupes/sedans/tourings bend very easy. I know because I bent mine on my M3 and replaced it with a vert front radiator support part very similar to this part. After I replaced the front radiator support I could tell the front end of my M3 is very solid so this is why I am doing this to my ZHP.

I now have a set of OEM M3 side mirrors to retrofit to my ZHP thanks to my friend Steve. They are stored on shelving in my garage where they will stay. Once I get Spring cleaning done in my Porsche garage, I will be able to start working on these mirror base plates on my workbench so that they will mount on my sedan.

I picked up my MTEC II Passenger Side Skirt from the dealer today and will also get this part painted out and installed once the paint has dried.

All this will be done sometime this Spring as I have several projects lined up already There will be much more in store for blauzed this year (Status Gruppe Tuning CSL bootlid for sedan).

On another note an unexpected event happened to my ZHP which will need addressing within a few weeks… replacement of my front driver’s side window regulator. At time of purchase I suspected it was on it’s way out because the window was opening/closing slower than normal and yesterday it started making loud crunching noises when I rolled up my window so I stopped using it. This was expected so I will be addressing this very soon

EDIT: the cause of the loud crunching noise I heard from operating my window originated from the aft regulator rail being loosely mounted on the door. I had to retighten the nuts securing the aft regulator rail and everything was okay again. I took out the window regulator to inspect everything and found no issues with the regulator assembly so I reinstalled it.

Looking forward to seeing all of the new parts being installed.

Will you be going with a OE window regulator? or trying an aftermarket one?

I will be sourcing an OEM window regulator from FCP Euro.

I also have a set of Bilstein PSS-10s to install so lots of stuff in store for the ZHP during the 2021 season. I'm also planning to source a Wilwood BBK for this car
