    Splitters scraping on the bottom

So, with my car being low, now adding c/f splitters, they scrape on the bottoms (fortunately not on the front of the splitters). I'm thinking of maybe screwing in a thin metal strip under them so it's the metal scraping and not the splitters. I'm already going to have screws in them for mounting anyway, and you don't seem them. Any thoughts on this or other ideas?

Sure. We had a thread addressing this and I think Kyle's Z4M has specific plates just for this. It's a neat idea.

LOL Joop. Justin, it's not too bad at all but I want to head it off before it does. I'll look for that thread Dane, thanks.

JP, that's funny but it could work. Too thin though?

Do you happen to know what thread that was? I tried a search but didn't find it. I've had this problem since I got the car - the previous owner installed the carbon fiber M-Tech(?) splitters which look great but they scrape easily and the car isn't lowered. The passenger side had a small crack when I got it and has since gotten worse....
