    Armrest squeaking noise

I know Ive seen somebody post a DIY on how to remove the squeaking noise on the armrest, but somehow I cant find that thread/post again. It was complete with pictures.

Im not sure if I read it here or over at e46F...

Please help me find it, the squeaking noise is annoying me...

    :

I have got to believe that there were many other E46 owners like myself who were just too tall for the armrest? Every time I went on long drives with it, my elbow would hurt, or my shoulder from scrunching to rest the arm on the armrest.

My arm would hit it if I put it up. I'm 6'5" so I said to hell with it and pulled it out. Still need to get the shorty console and the Euro Tray. Ways off though.

JayJay, Mango's thread you posted in #4 will definitely help you out.
