Yup and I plugged in a dually USB car charger in there to plug my ghetto fabulous $10 USB bluetooth receiver for power....then just plugged it into my OEM aux input connection to my OEM headunit which I wired into the glove box to keep things hidden and OEM clean.
OEM Headunit ----> OEM Aux Input ----> male to male audio jack ----> Bluetooth USB Receiver -----> USB Charger -----> OEM Flashlight Aux Power adapter

The flashlight port works like this:
Doors unlocked: ON
Doors unlocked with zero interaction (door actuation/trunk actuation/interior lights actuation) after 16 mins: OFF
Doors locked: OFF

GROM is my second choice if this one failed. LOL. I love Grom for steering wheel button functionality and the ability to just use a USB flash drive instead of syncing the phone all the times.

I contacted Bavsound yesterday and got a response later in the evening.
The rep said that the hardware is sourced from audiovox, so between Audiovox, DICE, and BavSound there is no difference in the hardware. He said:
So it seems like the frustrations that we all have with the DICE units being a pain in the dick might not be the case with BavSound, even though the price is significantly higher. From a hardware perspective they're the same piece, which we source from AudioVox. Our software is markedly more stable, however, as we made some iBus communication protocol changes due to overwhelming support issues with the older MediaBridge pieces. Further, we actually support the product.

I see this in the product specs now:
2. Power supply: 5V USB
I think I'll keep my flashlight plug outlet I bought from Bruce!
