There are a few options. They have a CD slot mount, a vent clip, and an adhesive backed one. I used the adhesive backed one in conjunction with my Bimmian metal mount and it works perfectly. :)

On another note, I completed updating my key fobs to the newer style 997.2 key fobs. I like the look and feel of the updated key fob - it's a matter of preference.

The OE key fob was worn and I wanted a change anyway so I decided to "update" them ;) You can see the difference between the new and old style key fob... as I mentioned, this is more a "preference thing" to me...

You can choose.... I choose to go the distance with my cars and put quality tint on them.

LA Tint from Manassas, VA did the install using FormulaOne Llumar Pinnacle series ceramic-based film. Had this same product installed on my M3 about 5 years ago from this shop. Some may question why I would drive my car all the way down to VA to install window tint... well, it's my car ;)

There is nothing more satisfying than having another club member offer to drive with you when you are about to leave an event to go home. In my case I drove from Lexinton Mass yesterday afternoon and another 911 owner wanted to drive down so we ended up playing follow the leader until we got to Providence. It was a nice and fun drive back ;) The 911 profile is beautiful to look at for sure :thumbsup

When I jacked my Porsche up I realized having actual jack pads specifically for my Porsche was a much more desired thing so when I found these, I purchased them. I can now do more work on the Porsche without having to worry about scratching the surface of the car from the jack...

The test drive was a lot of fun and the engine/exhaust notes of this car was intoxicating since this is a high revving motor like the S54's in the E46 M3. In Sport Plus mode, the PDK in this car really performed and it was enjoyable to drive. I really enjoyed this car and know what my next daily driving car will be....

BP stopped over today so I gave up my garage so that he could remove/replace his throttle body in the comfort of the garage.

This gave me the opportunity to run my Porsche and run it did! I took BP out to The Cheesecake Factory for a belated birthday lunch then ran the Porsche back. It felt and sounded great [emoji41][emoji1360]

Having leather would have been nice from a maintenance stand point but alcantara just looks so much better and my Porsche is not my daily driver but rather, my garage queen... I only take her out on nice days and on weekends...

I guess it comes down to preference. The newer cars are faster and have their improvements but they are also larger in size. I prefer the 997 Porsches for their size and styling. To me the interior looks more along the lines of the traditional 911's compared to the 991 models. Not saying that the 991's are bad because they are not but I much prefer the older styling cues that my 997 has compared to the current 991 series... With that said, I think the 997s stand up quite well against the 991's although they may be slower but it's not all about how fast you can go...
