12mm front & 15mm rear.
Eibach Pro Street suspension - not sure it is a true coilover but it is height adjustable. Shifter than stock but great for twisties and speed. Would not recommend to those who live in LA.

After going to the BMW dealer and putting in a new battery this morning, 3 of us headed up to wine country. Its been a long time since i have taken the ZHP on a road trip. 150 miles today. And i loved all of it (except some of it in traffic). We really do have amazing cars. I was falling in love all over again.

New radiator, expansion tank and sensor, expansion tank mounting bracket, flushed gearbox and diff fluid, engine oil. And just finished a 10 hour detail/paint correction! :)

It;s the bra that's discolored a bit...I haven't really cleaned it with any enthusiasm ever as I know the dirt is on the bra and not the car...
It has been there since the PO got the car in 2006 and installed it.

Castello de Amarosa! I was there last year! Awesome place. I know it's a winery, but seriously, try their grape juice, too. Ridiculous good. (I'm not 21 yet, lol)

Spotted this 650i Gran Coupe M-Sport at the local market.

Beautiful car, but a bit disappointing that the sharp LED headlights are not standard equipment. These HID lights just don't look right.

This was the first thing that got me with BMW's.

The second was the tail lights on the facelift e46 when I was 11-12-13. I loved how they were shaped and the different colored areas. :drool

You'll be okay, trees are popping leaves right now, pollen happening today is primarily tree pollen, nothing that Zyrtec & other over-the-cointers can't handle, I eat them like M&Ms. The leaves will be full in another week or two, pollen levels should drop quickly after that. Our cars in VA stay yellow for about a 3 week period, we're just finishing week #1.

Here's a quickie pic I took yesterday... I left town for 6 days (I'm in College Station, TX for work conference) and I snapped this pic real quick to show my latest upgrade... Gloss black grills with the custom ///M striping. :) Its kind of hard to see the colors, mostly because the white is so blinding in the sunlight, but when you see it in person, it really pops... I'll have to get some more, better pics when I'm home...

Also, notice the car is at the tint shop... :shifty I left it there so it could get tinted while I was gone... Cannot WAIT for that... Its starting to get warm in the Florida!

Well, could have gone much better just kept getting confused with the course where it overlapped. But got better and better each time and the car was great! Combination of the Super Sports and PSSs, I felt no where near it's limit. Anxious for the next event in a couple weeks! Had soo much fun!

Well, could have gone much better just kept getting confused with the course where it overlapped. But got better and better each time and the car was great! Combination of the Super Sports and PSSs, I felt no where near it's limit. Anxious for the next event in a couple weeks! Had soo much fun!

Good. You'll get better with the course. Looking ahead helps so much, but you need to trust the car and you before that stage.

If you really want to know the limit, spin your car. You don't know the limit until you breach it.

Sweet thanks for the advice! I think it was more trusting myself. At one point I got on the power and it just planted, didn't seem to spin tires, but then again, not sure, so much happening. Any other good tips? :)

Typically, you should be on the brake or gas, don't coast. I was terrible at this during transitions


Get some video and it will be easier to determine what you're doing right and wrong

Also Stathi, don't be afraid of looking like an ass when you screw up on a course. Anybody who excels at something they have a passion for, grew from their mistakes and shortcomings. No one grows from being on the top of the podium all the time without any hard work. Try to keep smooth too. If you're having to be too abrupt in input you're pushing it too far and it's costing you time. Slow in, fast out!! That's one of the hardest things to grasp. Once you have that, you'll get quicker and eat up lost seconds you never knew were there!

Thanks Trevor! That's good to hear, makes me feel a little better haha. Someone at the event said something like, when you feel you are going slow, you are probably moving your fastest/smoothest. I'm just excited for the next event in a couple weeks! Not giving up though! I love driving, ZHP especially, and always trying to make myself better at it :) hopefully by the end of the season I'll be making some good times!

Off an E34 possibly? That was the first car to have M Parallels. Those do look very close to OE, you can usually tell reps very quickly :dunno

The Angel Eyes look good on the car and I likely will not change them, but I still might swap the high beam bulbs for some PIAA Plasma Ion Yellow's. Two sets of CBI's should arrive this week to be installed on the E38 and E46 ;)

Went racin' over the weekend with the BMW Club. Wife took home first in 6-Stock with the ZHP in a field of 6 and I placed 2nd (by 0.4 seconds) in a field of 11 cars in my E36.

Wifey took a snap after the event and we added an instagram filter. This turned out amazing.

After just one application of the Sonax Polymer Netsheild. There was previously no wax on the car since I washed it before application and water laid flat on the trunk.

So what exactly is Polymer Net shield? Is it a wax replacement entirely, or is it meant to be used on top of a good wax coat?

I honestly don't know. My guess is that it's to be used on bare paint with no other LSPs on it so it can bond more strongly with the car. I put it on with no wax (weather wore it & opti seal from last fall off) and I have no wax on top of it now, but I'll be keeping an eye on it to see if it'll ever need a coat. But, my guess is that it won't
