Tomorrow I'm picking up my ZHP from the shop. Finally got some studs to add the Black BBS Lugs. Throwing on the Red BBS Center Caps, along with 10mm spacers in the front and 5mm spacers in the back and some more camber for the finish... can't wait to see how this looks on my car [emoji7]. I'll make sure to get some pictures in for you guys. Bimmerfest on Sunday!

haha!! i had to go into town at lunch today, and on my way back, right before i drive past the sandbanks access road (CR 11), and there is one of those LED signs...

the fact that most folks have driven at least 2hrs from any direction to get there... and then 10min before they get to the park, that sign and those messages. mega bummer.

Full exterior detail complete. Topped with mckees hydro blue. So fun to put on! Just spray on a wet car then hose off. I'll keep it maintained by spraying more on with each wash.

Swirls and minor clear coat scratches were a total PIA even with my new flex 3401 vrg. Got the paint to about 85-90% which is fine.

The ride is a little more harsh. I don't really like the aggressive stance as much as I thought I would. I'm rubbing on all four tires and I'm on -1.8 camber up front and -2.1 in the back. So I haven't really enjoyed the stance yet. I want to camber it up some more but it would be functionless if I do and just wear my tires out.
I plan to go back to 5mm up front and maybe camber the back up to -2.5 maybe that will help out just enough. If it doesn't work out, I'll remove the spacers and see how that works. But the back looks great.
I don't really like how the front tire sticks out so much in the front. Maybe if I had some M3 fenders lol!

You don't need spacers with BBS CH wheels.They are pretty aggressive all on their own without spacers with regards to fitment. I had to not only roll fenders but modify rear fender linings to get them to not rub.

You can either stiffen your shocks more and/or raise it just a tad. The most problem corner will prob be your driver rear. Dunno why. It was that in my ZHP and now in my M3 for tight fitment.

My driver rear is higher then passenger when the car is empty. [emoji12]

It's much easier to use the tire foamy to make the driver rear tire shiny. Haha.

I've tried even higher but I always run there with a 12mm spacer on OEM 19". Sucks. Higher looks icky.

I'm with you. It'd be a tough choice if I were offered those options. The 458 is a dream car that I realize I never really want to actually come true. I'm too pragmatic and prefer something that has power and performance that is accessible on the street rather than almost exclusively on the track.

Thanks guys! I was a little torn between yellow or gold/bronze for the calipers (something like the G35 coupes had, and what Lexus is doing now with the F models), but William was willing to part ways with his yellow kit.

I really love these wheels. I was on the fence about going 19 (and aesthetically wish I had), but the 18's ride quality and added protection from taller tires made the choice pretty easy.

You're right, I never really realized that much of a size difference either as I rarely see them side by side and I've never seen the E46 considered to be a "large" car, nor an E36 to be a "small" car.
