Yeah lol. This is probably the dirtiest it has been. Highs have been in the teens.. and lows about 0 for all of this week so far, and with snowfall & salt factored in there you can see how it goes. Not supposed to get warmer until sunday/monday here but I'm gonna try to sneak in a wash at work on Saturday.

It's always outside except 5-8h during the day at school where I park indoors. No seat freezing, but I've got alcantara. Leather could be different.

Not anymore. Used my heated wash bag at work and hand washed her yesterday. Then used the rinse cycle on the automatic part and parked it in the garage on an empty rack to dry.

Washed up the ZHP and the 330Cic Vert then headed out with the new Cannon T3i. Still not what I 'm looking for but better than my point & shoot. If anyone would like to share the best way to capture the bluest blue of the blue sky without PhotoShop enhancement, I'd be grateful. FYI; I was using the circular polarized filter but, I still not getting it when I upload them to the PC.

What did you use? Still using Opti-seal and Chemical Guys XXX wax? Or did you switch over to the Wolfgang sealant?

Nope, still the same opti-seal & XXX. I get some good beading on the sides when I clean it real good instead of just a quick DIY power wash place. (ex. hand wash)

Tony... mine faired better than yours but we had 50mph wind gusts throughout the storm...

Cars can handle the salt completely fine. If they didn't they wouldn't put such a big warranty on corrosion....although all the warranty is up now..LOL. I haven't had a problem in 10 years of winters...not a sign of rust! I broke down and washed my car after just over a month of not cleaning it. Alexandre's car is still the nastiest I've seen an E46. I think he's going for the record. I reckon he not clean it until this July.

The way home led us into the back hills through Bell Buckle, and Wartrace, TN. On the way through Wartrace I found this cool retro Texaco station and stopped to take a few shots with the dirty ZHP. Once parked in front of the pump I got out of the car, camera in hand and ready to tack some pictures. Then I see this guy heading my way asking if I knew that Toby Kieth "the Red Solo Cup guy" owns the place. He also said that this is where he keeps the classic cars that he uses in his videos. Tennessee gets cooler by the day, what a great place to live.

I agree, but they're only overplayed when you're on a forum. It's different for when you're out driving around in your hometown. I don't know about anyone else but I'm 1 of 2 ZHP's in my area.

Qft. We often are overwhelmed by the similarities in our community but it is that we agree what looks good and other than here it IS exotic to mosy people on the street, that is why people look... not an every day thing to see a "special" ZHP!

Yesir! I think if I went 8x8.5, the steering would feel weird. With the 8 in the front, the steering definitely feels different. It feels like it "steers itself". The tires grab more road. Could be just the fact that they are brand new too and have not yet settled in.

The fronts look perfect. Back not too bad either but I think I may get some 10mm spacers for the back. Just boost the rear a little.

Curb was higher than my side skirt so that hit first underneath and unclipped the skirt for pressure relief. Ouch. How's that alignment? I smacked a curb pretty hard several years ago and screwed up my alignment pretty good. I was racing around an empty curby parking lot and took curve to tight.

Be careful out there, screwing around or not.

Luckily the angle of attack was really easy on the chasis. It just sounded much worse than it was. The side skirt will need a bit of repair....nothing that a little black touchup paint and a feather can't fix to at least hide the scrapage:

Thanks. I really like how it has turned out. I was actually missing a mirror cover at the time. But you could go CF or black if you wanted. If it were me, I would just plastidip my stock mirror covers so that I could just take it back off whenever I wanted. For the record, all of my corners and my splitters are plasti-dipped black. It matches the trim perfectly.

The lip? You mean the splitters? They were chipped carbon fiber splitters from MiniD. I think Khoalty and a bunch of other places sell them. I just plastidipped them black. Goes better with the car anyway since I don't have any other carbon fiber.

Yep. They look fantastic during the day. To be honest though, my fronts don't look as good with the lights on. But it is user error. It was only 40 degrees the day I did them, so the spay wasn't even. I will redo them soon once it warms up a little more. I only put one good coat on so light would be visible through it.

So apparently Spring started a few minutes ago.

I arrived home to this earlier tonight (there was nada on the streets 24h ago)

After removing the snow from the car with a shovel I was able to back up and free the car.

Damn. I thought NJ was bad. We got hit with that storm yesterday but it was only 3 inches. 3 inches and I was completely aggravated by it. I hate the snow and cold weather in general.
