My new LED tail lights (made in Korea according to a forum member) came in today.... according to him I'm about to ruin my Porsche...

I started installing them after repositioning my car outside the garage...

Upon initial inspection these LED tail lights did not look bad.

These lights were literally set up as "plug-n-play" which made installing them so much easier....just like OEM

Here's the last look of my OEM halogen tail lights.... they will be put away in the same box my new tail lights came in

Got the new driver's side tail light installed... you can see the difference between the new tail light and the original tail light in the pic below... the Depot LED tails sure update the look of the 997.1

Both sides completed... this was a very simple unscrew (center phillips screw) and swap....

I then put my key in the ignition and turned on the car to make sure there were no error messages indicating a burnt out tail light... there were no error messages. Everything was normal as expected

I went back to take a look and the tail lights look pretty good if you ask me

Hazards engaged to see both center yellow lights light up...

I then checked the right/left turn signals and they all worked as expected with no issues.

The finish and quality of these Depot tail lights are very close to OEM when I compared them to my OE lenses... I am very pleased with the quality so far (notice my ZHP photobombing in the background).

One thing to note is when I took out my tail lights... the cavity inside was dirty... looks like I will be addressing this area from time to time... just to keep things clean inside there...

There was some residue I found on the passenger's side.... probably someone fapping near the car...

Got everything cleaned up before installing the new tail lights. I also applied a coat of REJEX to the new tail light lens and then applied a good coat of wax for added protection...
