Went to go adjust my window because I moved it to far to the left, causing a faint whistle on the highway at 74+. The reason is because a tiny bit of the window is not being sealed by the gasket, causing air to swirl around in there and create a whistle noise. I found out I don't have an E7 Torx, and everything is closed today so I can't get it.

My occupancy sensor is on its way out. If I sit in the passenger seat, the airbag light goes off. If I get out of the seat, the light turns on. If I let it sit for a while, it just mystically fixes itself. It seems to be related to both temperature and how often people sit in the seat.

I'm thinking I will make it a project at this year's ZHP Mafia Meet. That'll be kind of fun to figure out. Anyone wanna help me with that? I'll bring hog ring pliers and new hog rings. I plan on replacing the actual mat rather than doing a bypass.

    Good DIY info here:

Yeah I know, it's a bit of a project but I think I can do it. The seat cover is held in by hog rings, shouldn't be too bad if I get a pair of hog ring pliers. I just gotta be slow and methodical.

Is that sensor new, and if so, can you save it for me and I'll give you cash for it at the meet?

    Turned my CEL on!

Going to get her emissions inspected tomorrow!

Just took some insulated copper wire and touch the LEDs to power the CEL. It's repeatable and hopefully will visually trick the inspectors.

    Sent from my GSIII, bitches.

So the light is not actually functional, right?
Forgive for not knowing, but how come it doesn't come on? Is it your Euro tune that you mentioned before or is it something else?

Just out of curiosity, what is the benefit of the Euro tune? Power?

In Europe, they didn't have their equivalent of OBDII until MY2001.

Benefits are a more aggressive cam and ignition timings, more linear throttle map, etc... Basically it just feels better and has a slightly broader torque curve.

When first coded it and reset adaptations, I was able to chirp the tires all the way through third!!

When I put the headers on I'm certain they will give more power. Looking to dyno above 200 whp.
