Barry, thanks for the link... I agree with what you said about the starter and fuel pump...

It sounds like the OP in that E46f thread had the same symptoms, but the majority of those replies aren't correct.

If fuel pump, it'd crank over with no fire... If battery, it'd be weak or you'd get the clicking of the starter solenoid... If starter, it might try or be weak...

I'm thinking this is a connection of some sort, or one of the magical mystery electronic devices in the car.

So here's more detail on my issue... I get in, push in clutch, turn key to start, absolutely nothing. No clicks, no dimming lights, NOTHING... All appears as normal. The other day when it first happened, I held the key to the start position, and after 2 seconds or so, it started. Starter cranked up quick and car jumped right to life, just like before...

Now this morning, I tried that again, holding key to start... Yet, even after 4-5 seconds, I had nothing... So, I turned key to off, and then tried again. On the second try, it cranked and started up right away, like nothing had happened...

Maybe you got some water on the starter relay? There will be some sort of rubber boot on the wire but it could be cracked. While you're down there check for voltage while someone turns the key.

I washed my car today at the self-serve place and noticed all my wax + sealant was gone.. again. I give up.

Was gonna wash the car today, but then realized how chilly out it is. I'll save that for the weekend, it will be very nice out.

I repositioned my wipers again, they seemed to "shift" slightly. I checked to make sure my wiper motor was secured and it is. Who knows? Could mean I need new pressure nuts. They are looking a little worn. I made sure the nuts were very very very tight when putting them back on. Should keep the arms in place.

A leaf made its way into my blower motor. That noise. Is so. Freaking. Annoying. Holy shit. I want to find it and get it out.

I found that leaves can sneak their way by in certain occasions.

What? Crank hp is immeasurable when the engine is in the car. Why do people think that there is a magical formula for drivetrain loss...just take the real world numbers. Its much easier.

Probably not going to get then installed today. Dad took both keys to his car so mine has to wait for everything to cool down after I take my drug test.

Probably going to work on the suspension.

This could have been worded differently....and is not solely opinion based. There is a stab in there....just gotta look for it.

It's an estimation, nobody is inflating shit... I'm sure you saw the dyno photo on e46f so whats the issue? Interpret it however you want just please for God's sake leave the assumptions, attitude and negativity out of it.

Cool story, Seth. Go cry about it. Like I said earlier, very interested in your dyno with the new oil and the frank-intake. Just try to find a place that uses a better dyno and employs educated people.
