Or you could get Billy HD's if you don't want to lower your car. You can lower your car with HD's or Sport's, but Sports are meant for lowered cars whereas HD's are meant for stock ride height cars.
Keep in mind that in the E46 M3 world, Bilstein Sports don't exist. Only Bilstein HDs. Bilsten also sells the HDs in combination with Eibach lowering springs in their B12 kit, so the HDs should be fine for minor lowering

Finished headlight grinding. Plasti-Dipped lower grille. Installed OEM Alarm kit procured from E46f guy. And I haven't even had a beer yet.

Should have Lamin-X headlight film, clear side markers, and black trim restore goop from Bimmian yet today

More detail to come in my project thread. Really starting to make some progress on the to do list. Need to find somebody local who does coding, to fire this alarm up.

How long did the alarm kit take you? Thats next on my list. I have taken off the front air filter housing once already to do my blower motor (to stop the chirping before it drove me insane)

Seriously, especially if you've been in the fire wall before, about 1/2 an hour. Tilt sensor goes in the trunk, ultrasonic sensor in the headliner, and the siren on the firewall. That's it. And the used kit can be gotten, shipped, for about $165. It's a no brainer

I might be in Vegas then! I haven't registered though. What does that mean? I'm not allowed to meet you boys? LOL

OK, here is my status - I have NCS Expert working.

I coded the current LCM and the new to enable bi xenon with halogen for highbeams and to NOT turn off fogs when flash to pass or high beams…this thing is going to be a space ship with high beams on…

    I reactivated the euro flashers

And on the new module the three blinks - BUT, I HAVE THE TAMPER DOT with the new LCM and couldn’t figure out how to get rid of it…I tried to go in through Progman to code a replacement but I couldn’t get progman to see more than 12.4v at pin 30…even with my huge/consistent charger with various settings for volts/amps (and this charger has worked with another persons progman before)

So, I have my original LCM in there right now.

    Further…

I coded key controlled roll up of windows and folding with key mirrors and changed the max speed for which I can fold the mirrors - I can now do it while on the road instead of dead stop

I need to remember to turn off NAV accept (I had it before but with my meddling tonight I lost it)

So, left to do (that I can think of) is NAV accept, tamper dot removal (and checking coding on that LCM) and then hope that none of the automatic trans coding has seeped back in…ugh….

Mom was on her way down the driveway and met me as I was pulling in, so I asked her if she wanted to see something cool.. but she said no. She ended up seeing anyways.

Then she texted me and asked if I disconnected my rear brakes

    (I didn't)

Oh, also! My red plasti-dip came in today. Gonna spray my AFe dynamic intake scoop that goes behind the front kidney grills. Pics will be posted later.

Stuart, PM terra. I'm sure he'd be able to guide you through removing the tamper dot. (his username is at the top of this page... or at least in my browser it is)

Any chance you have PA Soft / BMW Scanner?

There's a DIY here on programming a used LCM:
