So I was about to buy a gloss black (piano black) grille from Khoalty after about 2 weeks of putting it off and of course when I get a chance to buy them they are discontinued. So I am wondering if you guys have any other suggestions on where to get gloss black grilles from around the same price. Based off what people said, the Khoalty ones had a decent fit for the price so hopefully I can find some of equal or better value somewhere else?

Ecs tuning only has matte black ones, could not find any on bavauto, and andysautosport has these which are pretty expensive. Maybe I should just try to paint them myself, pretty disappointed I didn't get them from Khoalty...

That's always an option. If that's the route you want to go, sand, primer, sand, base, then clear. After cured, polish with the power cone and a good polish. Then put on some sunglasses, it's gonna shine!

Really not looking to spend $112 on a set of grilles, I think I may just try to paint them myself if I can't find a good deal or a used set somewhere else.

That sucks. I got them last year for what, around $40 I think.
You can probably find another vendor that carries/sells them, I remember shopping around back then and remember finding some other sources but Khoalty's was the cheapest.

Highly recommend going the paint route if you cannot find any sellers though, just need to add a clear coat at the end to make sure it doesn't chip and can be protected from small impacts. No sense in pay triple digits for BMW Performance grilles.....can't see the "performance" in grilles....maybe the intake and exhaust but not a 100% aesthetic piece.

Agreed triple digits is way too much for this, thanks for the tips.
