Same thing happened to the 328i driver mount.

Made a decision to skip transmission mounts because they are cheap and can be done whenever.

Not doing my filter or FCABs today either. Honestly just gonna do RTABs and call it a day.

Good work. I wish I was this motivated to maintain my car lol. I don't feel like doing anything to it, but it needs so much.

I will be doing akg fcab next week on the wife's car.

Let us know what you think of the akg rtab bushings and the tool you are going to use. That is high on my list.

I rented it from Imola.ZHP (Marcus) for a very reasonable fee. It works beautifully. First side is done no issues.

Any pics of the old bushings ? Curious to see how they look with your mileage on them. Probably still are the original oem ones?

Replacing the engine mounts between cars was a total bitch. Thankfully I won't have to do it again. RTABs are good. Honestly the old ones weren't that bad. But I did it and its done. It was quite easy with the tool I rented from Marcus.

I need an alignment, but I scribed some lines beforehand to put them back in their previous positions. This should get me through the weekend. I intend to get an alignment after Monday should I have a day off.

75D engine mounts are also just as ridiculous as I remember. Loud, obnoxious, but most of all, I won't put a dent in my hood due to a broken driver side mount.

Having a birthday brew and going out to DuClaw for beers and good food.

Til tomorrow my friends, thanks for the birthday wishes and good night!

Dang that rtab tool has some serious and very necessary beef to it.

Here's a quick comparison of my old rtabs. 103k on mine.

The bushings in have are split in half and go in with a lil' elbow grease. But there is another larger block that will allow you to press the new bushing in.
