Insurance is giving you a great deal I think! Is the buy-back negotiable at all ?
If you're savvy with your parts purchases you should be able to keep a decent amount out of that $6k to put towards your loan

From what I've been told I can appeal the price given to me. The issue here is that I took a loan out with extra to cover the firat uears maintenance which has already been covered. What I have in my account is minimal, and with school coming up that is what gets paid first.Dario's 330i was front impact IIRC.

For me to be 100% happy, the loan needs to be covered completely with the buy back included. Which is somewhere around a value of $10.5k which as maintained as it was, mods aside, I think it would have fetched.

I miss my car. And who eventually ends up with the wreck is gonna get a sweet one. Going to see her one last time and get the new OEM parts off of her and replace with the OE parts. Submitted an email requesting re-evaluation of the claim for an increased settlement.
Still shopping for cars, but I have made contact with several sellers and will be testing a few of the options this week. For now, I'm driving a Dodge Avenger. This car is atrocious.
