Let me know how you like it at that setting, it feels like the sweet spot for me.

And that is annoying about having to sell the arms, but I'm sure it won't take long for someone to snatch them up from you. Or you could keep them if your control arms are getting old.

Will do. The tears seemed really firm. I think I had them at about 2 turns.

I may keep them as my son's car will eventually need them. How's just over 100k now.

Hoping to get to the diff this weekend.

Wish they offered a pre painted boot lid handle/light assembly.

They actually appear to be in good shape (for Meyles...)
Thanks for the assist from NovaPhotog (Dan) and Don Adolpho with his wicked cool ratcheting breaker bar!

I also removed and softened my rear Koni Yellows and adjusted the KW springs a tad higher.

Didn't get to the LSD but got the exhaust hanging out of the way and removed rear sway bar and loosened the Torx nuts on both axels. Car is still on jack stands in the garage and I hope do work on it more this next week.

    Time for a liquor drink!

What did you do for your ZHP/ BMW / MINI today? #2

I'm also having the car played under this weekend - seriously, f*** those exhaust bolts.

I gave the car some well due gifts for its 400,000km birthday. Subframe was initially supposed to be bushings only, but they found a 5cm crack while pulling it out. Wish my car had been taken care of during the recall.

    - Engine mounts
    - Tranny mounts
    - Cat replacement
    - Oil pan gasket
    - Drive shaft flex disc + CSB
    - Full subframe overhaul with floor reinforcements

Sucks you had to have that done but it's one less thing you'll have to worry about ever again.
Do you know what reinforcement kit did they used? That doesn't look like the Turner kit or the Redish kit....

I'm picking up the car today, I'll ask them. From my understanding they're custom - they have quite a portfolio of restored E30s and E24s that had destroyed floors, so they probably commission their own steel plates for these jobs (and save customers some $$ in the process)
