Re-bled the brakes today. Having a pressure bleeder makes the job extremely fast and simple!

Main reason for pulling the intake manifold. I think I also had a leak where the intake manifold meets the engine block. Check my build thread. I know my oil /air separator was not working correctly as there is a huge oil stain below it on the block

EDIT: not cold weather, car has been in Socal all its life

Sure does. Why did you need to do it again, in prep for a track day or the pedal feel spongy?

    Gracias, señor.

Also, does a shorter shock stroke have any real world impact unless you're hitting huge bumps?

What did you do for your ZHP/ BMW / MINI today? #2

^^^ Yup. I wasnt sure I got all the air out the first time. My pedal doesn't feel spongy per say, but the pedal travel takes a little less effort than before. Hopefully that makes sense. My brakes don't feel bad at all, just different from before. They definitely stop me on a dime if I have too, the pedal travel just doesn't seem as firm as before.

I was thinking it could be the combination of the new calipers, lines, rotors and pads. I'm 99 percent sure the lines are all bubble free, the brake reservoir was always filled to the max as well so I'm pretty certain I didn't let any air into the ABS system. The lines were only disconnected for a few seconds each. Any ideas?

Diagnosed my vacuum leak finally! New parts on the way. No wonder power was down and car stalled at idle. Oil and air was leaking at the intake manifold gasket.

What kind of pads did you use? I felt the same affect when I switched to Hawk pads. I had flushed the fluid at the same time and thought I f'd up the procedure. I bled them several additional times and even had the dealer do it to properly modulate the DSC/ABS system but the pedal still felt the same so I gave up. I think it was Vas that experienced the same thing with Hawk? It was in a recent thread

In my experience, if you disconnect the brake lines, you introduce air into the ABS system. Every time I've done so, I ended up having to use DIS to get the brake pedal feel back to where it should be
