Finished the exterior full detail I've been wanting to do (I've been waiting the pollen to clear out some.....)

Full Foam Bath and 2 Bucket Wash
Clay bar the whole car using Griot's Detailer Spray
Polished driver's side Shadowline rain gutter with PC7424 DA with 3" orange pad and Meguiars M105
Polished the hood with 2 passes of Mequiars M105 (PC7424 DA with 6" orange pad), 1 pass on rest of car
Polished whole car with 1 pass of Meguiars M205 (PC7424 DA with 6" white pad)
Sealed whole car with Blackfire Wet Diamond Sealant
Polished all 4 wheels with Rejex Polymer Sealant

Looks like the San Diego lifestyle for it's first 10 years really agreed with the car, as the paint looks amazing for a 10 year old car. Paint has zero water spotting, just some fine hairline scratches that look like they came from a cat on the hood and trunk lid. Next time I use the m105 I should be able to get the remaining scratches out. Only parts that saw any abuse were the bumpers. The dealer I bought her from had the front one refinished, and the back one is on my list to get done. It's not bad, just doesn't compare to the condition of the rest of the car. Since she is only going to be a fair weather car for me she should be easy to preserve....

Finally made time to clean OEM suspension. Feels good to store clean parts.

For a street driven car, I'd probably argue the 6-speed is more reliable since these boxes never get the 5th gear lean and such problems.
That makes sense to me. I had a B&M short throw shifter that would grind going into 2nd when I shifted fast. I went back to OEM short shift kit and I don't have that problem anymore. But, it speaks to the problem.

Also, I can't see a track car using 6th gear probably ever.

I love the 6-speed for my street car though, my RPM's would be too high on the freeway even with the stock 3.07 ratio.

Hey whats this property tax on cars business? Is that like the "registration fee" we have here in Michigan? Our "registration fee" is about $200 for the BMW, $130 or so for my F150, etc. and is charged annually on the drivers birthday.

Hope you guys aren't getting stiffed with a property tax on the car AND a registration fee....?
