It's not the car you drive, it's how you drive it.

Forgot to mention this yesterday, was pulling out of my school parking lot when a friend of mine in a diesel pickup tries to cut me off. A couple of weeks ago the same thing happened but I somehow squeezed in and he reared off. Not this time, we were joking around because I was yelling to him that it was alternate merge and he said he’d actually hit my car this time(all in good fun) but this time I tried to squeeze in and even though I didn’t feel contact it was the closest I’d ever gotten to another car in my own.
Got home and my brother pointed out the “damage”. Paint taken off of my front bumper trim, thankfully none of the actual bumper was harmed.
My trim was already damaged a couple weeks ago when I backed into my brothers 4Runner, but still no serious damage. If anything this just gives me more of a reason to repaint my trim(maybe back to black, opinions?)

Had a local detailer do a paint correction and CQuartz seal. $450 out the door. There are a good bit of rock chips and scratches that only a respray would fix but overall the car looks pretty damn good. No more swirls. I'll try to snap some pics tomorrow.

Lol, the trim fell out for the third time this year so I haven’t gotten around to convincing myself that I should buy another

I used to use Forever Black on my 944'a and it worked very well. 968: nothing there to retouch. So I threw mine out.

Comparing masking off and retouching the lower grille, which would be the better route- Forever Black or spray? I'm assuming I'd mask for both.

Found some time to install a UUC SSK and DSSR. While I like the shift MUCH better, I’m not sure I can say that the install + price were worth it. New carrier bushings (which I didn’t do) and a rebuild would have been less work, 1/4 the price and might have gotten me the feel I was looking for.

The trim and the fog? Or did you pull the fog?

Pulled the fog after the trim fell off bc the fog was just bouncing around in the bumper
