That's pretty interesting being a Canadian car and all. I'm pretty sure they get no sun there.

They get sun, it'd just be impolite to boast about it. Or talk about it. Or even think about it, lest they have to apologize for it.

That’s a bingo. And even with the sunshade, my back deck was freaking purple.

Btw everyone should blow up ZHPizza’s thread...he got married today.

Since I had the car in the air to install the TSE3, I went ahead and installed the BavAuto Viton oil filter housing gasket. While it looked gross beneath/ behind it, the gasket seemed okay, but the it was the one leak noted on the PPI. Once I get the alcantara repaired, I'll have addressed everything noted in the PPI (plus some things they didn't, like the missing fog light connectors and housings). I also took ample pictures in case there weren't any decent DIY's with pictures still thanks to PB if anyone's interested.

Scratch and dent special on sale now at U-Haul in Baltimore. Backed over a metal stand for a sign...with no sign in it. Only stood about 7 inches off the ground. Didn't see it when I parked, didn't see it when I left.

What do you think of your TSE3? I assume you got it used?

That is the most infuriating shit. It was avoidable and you're normally super careful, but you just didn't notice that one time.

I’m not even ashamed to admit I pulled the trigger at full price from Jegs (no sales tax or shipping), using a left over gift certificate and taking advantage of the current rebate. It’s twice as much as I have ever paid for exhaust, but overall, totally worth it. I’m a stickler for good sounding exhaust with the right volume (aggressive, but still relatively mild until you mash the loud pedal) that doesn’t drone.

My car sounded GOOD before (PO(s) has removed the resonator and first muffler). My wife would make fun of me because I’d stand on the front porch or in the garage to hear her pull away when she’d drive it, because it just sounded so good. The downside was that it had the worst drone I’d ever heard. So bad, that I refused to drive it on the interstate. The drone was just too uncomfortable.

To put that into perspective, I come from mustangs. I had a 2012 GT that I, more than once, tried to use my volume knob on my radio to “turn my exhaust down” while driving to work in the morning after late hours at work the night before. I have a ‘68 mustang that had headers bolted directly into flowmasters under the driver seat that I decided was annoyingly loud, but wasn’t an immediate issue and left it that way for several years.

My first thought was just get the local shop to take care of it, but they couldn’t guarantee no drone unless I had all the original parts, and just figured the TSE3 was an easier route. I looked around for used for a short time, but honestly didn’t find much and didn’t look hard. I could have waited, but I want to drive this thing more until it’s too cold for the tires.
