    This is BMW "solution" to the subframe issues. The foam is injected into the subframe from the top of the trunk area. The foam expands and becomes stronger.

    Wow really? I have never heard of that. Will BMW do it? Is it expensive? So it helps prevent tears? Can I do it myself?

    It was part of the class action lawsuit that is not longer active. The foam itself isnt expensive, however the tool to inject is.

    That is my next plan of attack for the 328i.

    Followed with AKG 75D bushes for the subframe and the differential, OEM Z4MC STABS with AKG limiters and a 3.23 LSD.
