my next plan (maybe in 5-10 years) is to buy an E60 M5, cut it and the 2002 up, chop/channel the 02 unibody and weld it to the M5 unibody so it looks like a '69 and goes like a '10... it's gonna be one badass 5002

Very ambitious! Sounds like it could be a great project.

There are a handful of those running around now.
Good deal on a S85+DCT came up a few days ago on m3forum and m5board. The seller just put it up on ebay.
Was considering it for another swap, but I found that I can get a whole donor car in CA for a little bit more.



Good point, but the same is true of Derek's car. It's got plenty of miles on it now and it gets tracked.
I'm sure if he kept the boost reasonable, it'd be reliable. What are you running on yours?

We all know that I will be in the same position as Brian and blow up my car again. Track days and a stock m3 motor seems like the most reliable setup compared to a s/c 330i. Especially since I'm about to hit 122k.

Oh i know. It sounds awesome.

There is talks of moving on to an M3 or a NSX again with my brother. I take his Fit for daily and give him my ZHP... but it's just talks. If i can find a nice ZCP for a good deal.. I may jump ship.

After my daughter is finished with college....I might just get another E46 ///M ZCP in Interlagos Blue to add to my stable
