What did you do for your ZHP/ BMW / MINI today? #2

What do I want to do to my ZHP today is the question...

The nose of my car including bumper and is getting reconditioned after some yo-yo decided he had to back into me in a parking lot (why do all my accidentts happen while i am parked)?

Anyway, I got the body shop to delete the license plate holes from the bumper and respray the mesh grill bits in the nose in the bumper. I am tempted to get them to paint the reflectors or put in clears in the bumper too.

My questions -

Do i paint the mesh grill to match the paint or black? Seems like they all sort of turn gray after awhile and tempted to go to with TiAg rather than gray.

Painted reflectors or clears (I have ambers now - the only amber on the car)?

Is Anything else or should I be thinking about things differently? - Love to hear your thoughts.

I think black grills always look best. I would personally ask if they could delete the reflector all together.

I liked it a lot when I switched to clear reflectors on my coupe...

Painting the reflectors looks good to me, but they don't reflect. So, if you want that, then clears. AFA the lower grill, I painted mine gloss black, and I've seen others do this, and it looks good. Painting to match the Tiag would be pretty cool too, tough choice. Let us know what you decide.

Sold the ZHP suspension to free up some space in the garage.

washed waxed (been at least a year since last waxing) finally put splitters on (been in a box for 6 months) relocated hood pin (put on strut bar) pin was just hanging in there ever since install 4 months ago

I think an HKS exhaust would go nicely

Am I right they're not OEM clear reflectors? Who else makes them? How is the fit compared to the OEM ?

I got mine from ECS tuning. and they had them on sale for something like $15 I think..(pair). The fit is very good, i'd say 99% of OEM fit.

I replaced both front turn signals on my Mini Cooper because they were cracked. The OEM parts were around $ 90 (with S/H) at Bavarian Autosport. And I paid $ 30 for installation (you must remove the bumper to install).
