Last time I was in the Yay Area was 3 years ago and they were still building it.

Next time I visit things will be soo different.

It's now working without the GLI.

On a side note, I was driving over our newly finished bay bridge. Reminds me of the Wangan and Tokyo extreme racer the video game. Funny how there is an e46 and a white Prius in the pic.

Weird. My headunit did it randomly though - it wasn't a constant thing but common and annoying enough to hardwire the thing. Keep it in the glovebox at least!

Yea, I have it in my glovebox for the time being. The 30minutes I spent fiddling with it yesterday didn't turn off the AUX so :shrug

It's not too bad of a difference. I will miss the S curves on the bridge during the late nights but I wont miss them during rush hour.

After reading into it more on the GT1, I see the lean codes are right after installing the AFE intake. Maybe the drive adaptations need to be reset?

I reset the codes and haven't driven it since. Hopefully that does the trick. I don't feel like finding the problem right now. lol

    Minor Update:

Ran into the same codes again after driving again,

    P0171/74.

I figured it had to be a vacumm leak since it just happened when I installed the AFE intake. I inspected the boot and low and behold, cracks! It actually is a big hole..

I'm thinking of ordering some silicon intake boots so I don't have to see this again. Looks like in 2010, the lower boot was replaced but not the top one.

I think S54, ITB's, and CSL airbox will solve your issues permanently
