Called the dealer that PO was taking the car to to find out when the battery was replaced only to learn that he also replaced the valve cover gasket around 69k miles. This clears up the mystery of why it's so nice and dry. I was thinking that at 93k the original valve cover gasket would surely be leaking by now. One less thing to worry about... for now

The dealer never gave you a history on your car?

Hey wouldn't release it to me because it has PO's personal information associated with it. Essentially, I have to get the PO to request it and then send it to me. So I had to interrogate the lady on the phone about what was done and when, which is enough for me. I keep my own log.

He can check off the address crap and stuff off it. -_-

Ask him for a DCS report without the customer information on it. Fittingly you own the vehicle already..

    Bewm! Post #1000

Well, pretty much 6 months to the day since I became the owner of my first BMW. It's been a very enjoyable experience and it wouldn't be the same without my mafia family. Thanks boys and girls!

    Sent from outer space...
