Is an alignment needed after the install of those z4m bushings?

Since the increase of caster changed the static geometry of the control arm, I would highly recommend an alignment just to confirm toe is within the specs. I have an alignment schedule for next friday. The last time I got an alignment was 4/19/14 and there hasn't been any suspension changes except the thrust rod bushings. Since I am tracking the car, I would like to adjust my alignment settings either way to be sure.

It should. It changes the control arm angle and the tie rods do change their position slightly. I would imagine it is different.

I dropped by Performance Technic this morning to get an alignment on my ZHP and I was greeted by a few BMWs. Business is great judging by the sheer amount of BMWs parked in their lot.

The infamous 1M Clone looks fresh from their Targa Trophy Time Attack and Joe (owner) new M3 looking amazing with some BMWPerf parts.

I didn't really take any pictures of my car but I did get an alignment just to see what the caster and toe changes were after the Z4M bushings.

Caster increased by about 1 degree and Toe was pretty high up there for the front. Everything seems to be okay and the car drove fine before and after the alignment. Kudos to Performance Technic and I'll see the whole crew on Tuesday at Thunderhill!

Oh I know. Makes me feel unimportant with my itty bitty 3series. Of course the techs like my car since its still not too common at their shop.

You bet. Since the z4m bushing affected caster, there was extra toe in due to the arm pivoting slightly differently.
