Update:
Michelin Pilot Super Sports 245/40/17 were installed on my APEX ARC8s. Apex has an unofficial program to exchange a damaged rim with a new one for 50% off MSRP. I initially emailed APEX in hopes for a discount for a cracked rim and when they replied back with this program, I could not refuse. Welding the crack would've cost me around $100 and now a new wheel was somewhere on the verge of $130. Can't argue with that! It ain't a worth post without pics, so here are 3.

Also work was slow today and I had my OBDII cable so I fiddled with NCSexpert.
I modified a few values today. In one of the coding threads, Ryan mentions modifying the MK60 gear torque values to the M3 values. I never did that and been pending for over 2 years. I added the M3 values to C04 DATEN files and threw the option 4 and 3 on the parameters. I drove it around but I have no idea if it is changed anything yet since I didn't activate DSC yet. I found it interesting when I read the KMB parameters, the SCHEWELL_2 was not present. I modified the aktiv data value from 00,FF to 01,1F per terra's suggesting in one of the older threads. This value is from a Z4 and seems to activate BFD stage3 right before ABS. I had to add it manually to the MAN file and write it in.
Code:
MK60_C04:
GEARMOMENTREGLER_MAX_HA_2 wert_01 -> wert_04 Data Value 07
GEARMOMENTREGLER_MIN_HA_2 wert_05 -> wert_03 Data Value 08
AKMB_C08:
GRENZWERT_VERZ_SCHEWELL_2 aktiv Data Value 00,FF -> 01,1F
I'll have to test all of these soon.
Cheers and Happy New Years fellas!
I hope to get a new commuter soon and work on Euro City Lights for this car. :D
