I know where to get a full M3 rear end from a '03(?) vert minus the R half shaft, so just one part you need to order. Down here in San Diego if you're interested.

Nice plans. If you go s54 swap would you just change out the whole powertrain back to the LSD?
From what I understand, the driveshaft for a 6spd follows the rear end you decent to use. (I could be wrong)
The plan is to get either a ZHP 3.64 LSD or 3.62 M3 subframe/LSD by March/April. ZHP 3.64 would use the ZHP drive shaft and the M3 would use the M3 driver shaft. I'm not 100% sure which one I want to do just yet. If i choose the M3 LSD it will be cheaper for parts but require replacement M3 sway bars and require alot more labor. It would make more sense to use the M3 LSD since I am planning to do an S54 swap.
ZHP 3.64 Ratio
Pros:
-Aftermarket LSD which allows great customization for the LSD characteristics
-Easier to Install than M3 subframe.
Cons:
-S54 swap can complicate the rear end situation (I believe it works but not 100% sure)
-Expensive
M3 rear end
Pros:
-Will make the S54 swap complete when finished.
-Factory LSD
-parts are less expensive than a custom zhp diff.
Cons:
-needs more parts to install
-requires M3 sway bars
-could be more expensive after labor
-condition of pieces sometimes can be unknown depending on seller.
I have a quick discussion question for those to have been following my build. (Thank you for your time)
Should I replace the subframe with
OEM factory bushing replacements?
AKG poly bushings?
AKG solid mounts?
I am uncertain how NVH effects correlates to each type of material for a subframe.
I just bought a M3 rear end for those who were wondering.

Don't know, but congrats on the M3 rear.

Go with the 90a poly bushings. And never increase the stiffness of one component with out increasing the stiffness of the one next in line.
I.E. don't put solid bushings in the diff and then keep the subframe bushings stock.
Go have fun with this one Derek!
